Fork Oil Capacity -Mid 90's Road King ?
Anybody have a manual with the fork oil capacity for a 1994-96 Road King? Thanks

FLT 7-3/4 oz 8-1/2 oz
FXRS-CONV,
FXRS-SP 10.5 oz 11.5 oz
FXR, FXLR 9.2 oz 10.2 oz

Ok Thanks. Well, since good ole HD offers their fork oil in 16 oz bottles, I put 8 oz in each fork. I guess thats close enough.

Just replaced seals on 93 FLHS and my manual says the same. 10.5 oz if disassembled and only 8.5 if drained cause you can't get it all.

You will be well served by owning a MoCo service manual. Parts manual is handy too

Fill it up full and use a 100 ton press to get the filler cap to compress it all.

I have a factory service manual for my bike. I am helping a friend change his fork oil. He doesnt have a manual.

Well now you know what to get him for his birthday especially if you are going to be helping him with this bike.

It's his bike afterall.
I've told more than one person that they need to get me a service manual for their bike if they want me to work on it.
