Default Just finished my cam upgrade.WOW!!!!!!!

I just finished my cam upgrade this morning. Couldn't be happier. Now she pulls strong from 2500 rpm all the way up to 5k. I added a S.E. air cleaner and a pair of Kirker slipons. Rejetted the carb 48 slow, 180 main. Also added a adjustable low speed needle. Went for a quick 50 mile shakedown. I couldn't stop grinning!
It was time well spent!

I knew you would love that setup! When mine was dyno'd, it only put out 65 hp but 85 ft. lbs. of torque! I love the way mine feels when you punch it. Even at 70mph, it will lurch forward. I need to up my slow speed jet as mine is running a little lean below 30 mph. I think mine has a 45 or 46. How many turns from bottom is your idle mixture screw with that 48 jet? Any surging under light throttle at low speed?

Nope, no surging at light throttle. 2-1/2 turns out on the screw. I gonna do a few more miles and check the plug color. Todd
