I juts went back to spec at 3/4 turn out and 1/8" free-play in the cable and it feels fine. I was having to let the lever out about 3/4 of the way before the clutch engaged before. Now it starts about 1/2 way out. Feels pretty good. Thanks for the help!

 

Thought you had already done the clutch adjustment before asking the question.
