The best thing I've ever done to help with the starting of my bike is replace the stock ignition module with a Dynatek 2000P ignition module.
Why it helps I have no idea but the bike starts way easier with the Dynatec than it ever did with the stock module!!!
And yes I did switch back to the stock module just to see and once again it was hard to start again.

It's a choke **** connected to an enricher.

The problem is you only ride it around your cul-de-sac so you can keep your bike clean!!!!
God forbid you actually ride it out on the road where it could get dirty!!!!!
