I switched my classic bags to newer abs plastic hard bags. Love the new look! More room also.

 

Look great! I like the classic bags but hard backs look much better imo.

I can't tell from your pics (on my phone and my eyes are bad) if those are the 2014+ style or the earlier type.

I see these offered on eBay for around $400. Obviously import knockoffs at that price. Did you go that way or did you go with MoCo bags. I like the eBay price, but worry about the quality.

They are the earlier type. They aren't hd but they are really good quality. I bought the bags and latch kit separate. I didn't realize the 14 and newer bags were one hand release till after I purchased these.I would have held off for those of i knew. I'm happy with them though.

 

Your classic bags can fetch a pretty penny on eBay and help catch up your money.

Personally I prefer the classic bags because they look like leather and are stuff like hard bags.

 

Do yourself a favor and get at least two sets of these:






The spring clips have been known to fail, and it only takes a thief with a screwdriver a couple of seconds to pop those clips from the outside and ruin your day. Lowe's has them.

I replaced the OEM leather looking bags with Chinese knock off ABS bags and replaced the latches with OEM ones.

I think they look soo much better!
