Well done, looks good.

I actually bought a secondhand tank cheap, because it had a small dent in it. Harley tanks are built like battle tanks, so dents don't come out easily - until you find a proper panel beater who knows what to do! I had mine painted and the painter removed the dent at no charge - because he knew what he was doing. So look around, especially for someone who works on classic cars rather than modern ones.

Check and see if one of those paintless dent repair places can make it right.

You may be lucky but I didn't find anyone around here that would touch it. Modern auto panels are very thin metal, compared with our gas tanks, hence my comments above.

Nice bike! Paint less dent repair or try some dry ice. Gotta be a hot day for it to work.

My Body shop guy has a Guy, he has a Dent puller [just for MotorMikes] that will Not Damage the paint.
He took my original '82 tank [hit a Deer and put a dent alot like that one in my tank] home or to his shop or wherever ad brought it back pulled so nice I couldn't whip out 100 bills fast enough!!!
I'll try to find out how...But I think he is the Vendor for some kind of "Glue Stick"

ask a Good Body shop Owner[not the dink sweeping the Floor]

Sweet lookig scoot. Therez a shop in Santa Rosa, Ca called Dent Dynamics. They do repairs without screwing up the paint. The value in your bike is that it appears stock, or almost completely so. Repainting screws things up. I used the shop to fix my tanks on my 49 EL. Did some nice work.

Thinking there has to be someone similar on the east coast.
