Bike leaning to much on stand. What is normal? Should a rider be able to stay on when bike is on stand?

You mean should you be able to sit on the bike with it on the stand? Yeah. I would look at some other bikes of the era and see how far they lean compared to yours. Or post some pics. Someone could have replaced the jiffy stand on yours or there could be something wrong.

My 98 Springer leans a whole lot compared to my 2010 RK. Kind of scary when it's coming off the J&S jack. More than I would like really, but I guess the only fix is a longer jiffy stand.

Try putting a 1" block under the JS. If you like it better, buy a new +1 Jiffy Stand.
OR

Take a measurement and post it here, maybe like Dr. Hess said, " Someone might have replaced it" Then you'll need a stock length.

I've always noticed how baggers have leaned over more than my softail. I think it is common for baggers of our era.

The "jiffystand" is not designed to support the bike + rider + passenger. That's what your tires are for.
Don't worry about your bike lean. Unless it is greater than 15 degrees.

Add a custom license plate to it.

EILEEN

There you go. That's your bike's name.
