Default How many times have you split the faring

IF YOU HAVE ONE That's for THC Can't take him anywhere.

I replaced a radio in the EVO today and was putting the outer fairing back on and popped on of the barrel nuts that hold the windshield on in place. easy enough fix.

Just got me to thinking how many times I have split the fairing for various reason.

2 times for wiring
1 time for radio install and wiring then too.
1 time for LED H/L install
And this time to replace radio that puked out.

That's 5 times just this year

I'm bored waiting for the epoxy to set

Bought the bike new in '96 and do a real good cleaning each winter, even getting the bugs and dirt under the faring ... so at least 30 times ...

Well by the time I got rid of my '97 FLHTCI w/110k on it I suppose I had removed that fairing at least 100 times. I replaced and epoxied those brass barbs at least a few times and replaced the fairing mounts at least three times. So yeah I know where your coming from.

Had a lot of them off. Probably 100 times or? Simple after your first 2 or 3
