Default Help with my 93 fxrs plzzzzz!!!!

Need help finding out why my 1993 FXRS has no electrical power anymore.
All started I was riding my motorcycle 4 days after rebuilding it and getting it back on in the wind. Heading down the road the bike stuttered a couple of times and then went completely dead. I coast into a parking lot pull the seat off of the bike and find the auxiliary cable on the positive side had broken at the terminal. I'm thinking easy fix splice it back together I'm back on my way however that was not the case. I fix The terminal and have nothing still. The only electrical I have when the key is on is horn , high beams and the starter will crank over. I have NO ignition no running lights no taillights no headlights. I've tested the wires to the ignition switch I've tested the breakers and all have Power going to them and coming out of them.
My question is what could cut power from the rest of the bike yet still have power to high beams horn and the starter ?
When the bike died "ie. the hot side wire broke to the bat " I was going around 40mph . With that said I would guess there is a good chance that that wire touched ground most likely to the oil tank and what ever electricity that was being generated went straight to ground and fried something.
So now I would have to ask what would you think would most likely get fried.
Again thanks for any help getting me back in the wind.
Im losing my mind without the wind

check the fuses and relays, its sucks but sometimes you have to just grab your meter and work your way through ea wire until you find short

Sure sounds like one of the breakers is out...Are you checking voltage across the breaker or from post of breaker to ground??? Just askin!!!! No lights plus no iggy, [I assume no oil light?] but the engine cranks???? Someone been wiring that one some maybe?

Did you check all 4 breakers?
My bike has 3 15 amp breakers and 1 30 amp breaker.

The down side is about all you can do is grab the schematic for your bike and a volt/ohm meter (or test light) and start following all your wires till you find your problem.

Electrical gremlins are the worst IMO!!!!!!!

Check to switches, if you have power there then check to lights etc, that will help you narrow points where power is present, so you can refine search from there
