Thank you all for the information. This Dobeck is suppose to tune the EFI like a carb but doesn't have a lot in the way of troubleshooting information. I'll keep experimenting with it and get it dialed in again. I think some of it was a leaking intake gasket but I changed those out this past weekend, now to just get it dialed back in.

Finally had a chance to get out and ride around today. I think I got this thing dialed in good this time. I was running down I-40 pulling off exits and tweaking the settings bit by bit and getting back on and kicking up to 80 or so, no decal pops, smooth pulling up to 90, gotta love this EVO.

I did exactly that on my '98 FLHTCUI and it stopped decell popping completely. Let me add however that you also need proper slack in the throttle cable so that you're not inadvertently keeping the throttle a little bit open when you shut it down.

I have a Dobeck on my Buell. It is a simple device which provides adjustment for the EFi which mimics a carb, so it is not programmable as such. My Buell still pops on the over-run, after fitting an aftermarket system, but not as bad as at first! My local indy has advised against messing with the Dobeck any more.

To get a full cure will probably need a more suitable pair of mufflers and possibly a proper tunable tuner.
