Is a 62172-02 petcock a direct replacement for an old 61338-94C?

 

My guess would be yes but why not put a Pingle on it?

 

I told them to get rid of that design but they want to keep it "stock".

 

I'm guessing the stock one is obsolete???
Did you do a nationwide search to see if there was one available at a dealer somewhere?

 

It's leaking gas... the thing is that I can order the 62172-02 thru the Biker's Choice catalog but not the other one.
