Default Heated gear on an evo

I've never owned an evo so this may be a dumb ? but i searched the net and couldn't find the answer.

I've been looking for a 95-98 low rider.

Will i have an issue running heated gear in the winter I ride year around.
Gerbings heated gloves and jacket liner.

Thanks in advance.

What is the output of the charging system in amps and volts? I ask volts because I would like to see your stator's health to begin with. A/C reading too, unplug it for this one.
If you go with lower bulbs you may just have enough. There is a fellow forum member that has an upgraded 38(?) Amp output stator but that may actually be overkill, I think a 32 amp will be sufficient.

Good riding, stay warm!

You will have no worries. I run the liner, gloves and heated over pants with a dual controller. It all connects to the one pigtail coming off the battery. Warm and toasty all the time. Just make sure you have a big enough fuse in the fuse holder for the gear you are running.

I run gerbings heated gloves and a jacket all winter on my 98 RKC. The only problem I have is frying a fuse about once a year. You'll want to have a small pack of 15A fuses with you. Other than that, no worries.
