Hi Guys,
So, My 1988 heritage has a super e carb with a tear drop air cleaner. I really like the look of the stock round air cleaner. Is there a kit to run my stock air cleaner lid with the super e carb? Ive looked on the s&s web sight. What one do I need? Thanks!!

Would his 88 have had a CV or would it have still been a butterfly carb at that time?

 

You can answer queries like this on-line here, however it doesn't matter what carb your bike originally had, it has an E now. The CV carbs were introduced 89/90. The air cleaner cover looks the same before and after your model year.

I just thought I would bring it up in case he had his old air cleaner setup he wanted to use. I wasn't sure if the CV and butterfly bolt pattern were same.
