Default MM-EFI to Mikuni HSR Carb Conversion 96' FLHTC

Attached are a couple of shots with the Mikuni carb conversion. I got the FLH manual, sourced the carb, carb wiring harness, stock petcock off ebay and had the ignition ECM and coil from a 98 FXD. All went well. Down to the short strokes of the fuel tank mods. Pulled injector pump and canister and now need some fittings and to make cuts inside the tank at the existing fittings. I cut the crank position pick up low enough to take the extended lube oil filter. Glad to see the EFI go and use up extra parts I had laying around.

Should be faster since you lightened the bike and your wallet. Ha!

How did you address the cruise control? I'm assuming you have this. I've seen a bolt on kit to connect the stock cruise control to the Mukuni, but it's a bit pricey. Wondering if there is a DIY option.

Both of my motors run CV carbs but are both "racing" carbs with no cruise ability.
I epoxied the arm onto the area where the shaft should come thru but doesn't on both the 44 and 51mm CV carbs and it works perfectly. Possibly do similar to the Mik.

My bike is a 1996 FLHTC(i) now FLHTC The HD wiring harness is used is Part#32435-97 along with a VOES part #26555-94 which included the switch, bracket & wiring harness. I had the ignition module and coil spares from a 1998 FXD carb I no longer have.

The tricky thing right now is making the fuel tank mods. Getting to the fittings inside the tank has been a challenge. I want to use the rear fitting as the petcock feed and cutting the tubing with a cutting wheel inside the tank is a PITA.

I removed all of the EFI wiring harness and sensors etc. Easy stuff...finally glad this is off the bike.

You could always leave that stuff in the tank.

Default HELP 96 FLHTC FI to Carb tank fittings (WTF)

Yup....but after I reassembled I'd always have that nagging that I should have gutted it so out it goes...

I'm looking for the right fittings and I'm stumped.

I need a plug for the front and a union that fits the existing fitting (WTF is that?) and the 13/16"M fine thread that will accept the stock HD petcock for that year. I have the HD petcock.

The mic'ed threads measure 45/64's 18T/inch can anyone confirm and/or provide a "fitting" solution???

Attached is a pic of the male fitting FI
