A good number of people I know took the LTR RTL theme to heart.
I never got that feeling about it but you had better not Criticize it with them.
Not gonna say when I saw it first but it has been a long time ago.
Far enough back I had not learned to express opinions without pissing some off

Just got back into town after a 4 day mini-vacation in New Orleans. Gotta love any place that will let you walk around with open intoxicants... And The Lions won! The Superdome is really nice, never been to it. Only 'dig' would be the area where the concessions are is a big narrow.
If you're serious, it can all be in a box heading your way for the cost of postage.... Don't think I'll head back in time before my riding days come to an end.

Owned HDs since 1975. Never had the urge to put that stuff on a bike.

My third bike, a blue and silver 94 sportster, was covered in LTR/RTL stuff. Even the handlebar clamp had it on there. Man I miss that scoot... When I was 16 and had a FZR, I used to borrow the sportster from my dad and ride it to highschool. I actually saw it and the guy I sold it to at the bike shop in town a few months back. He didn't change one thing on it...

My old Tour Glide came with at least 4 pieces on it, really worn and old looking. I'd rather have plain chrome, but I seldom buy anything for the bike that doesn't actually do something other than look pretty. I think I tolerate that stuff better when it looks so worn, fits better than shiny new stuff would with the high mileage chipped paint look that bike has. Theft deterrent, they'll steal the pretty Harleys first.
