Since all kinds of Shovel and Pan parts are available I would say it's gonna be a while.

When or if I decide to downgrade and buy something newer, I plan on holding on to my evo wide glide as long as possible...

Ya see that's just it. The Evo is a fine tuned motorcycle that still has a level of Quality not Quantity. They will as the Pans, Shovels and Knuckles will some day be the bike of demand. we hang on to them because they are a part of our life and will remain that way for many years because they were built to endure the changes we see every day but bring us back to what we remember best. The Good Times......

By comparison with twincams, Evos were only made in small numbers. Annual output of twincams is five or more times higher than Evos, seven times higher at one stage. There are not many Evos around compared with twincams!

I finally found mine, it took a while, and I screwed up on a couple by trying to cheap out. I am happy with what I got and it may be my last Harley. I owned 4 twink powered bikes since they were introduced, the newer the got the less "personalty" they had. I know I am having fun right now and I still haven't ridden it. Mike

This forum is for the only last evos left in America. Please choose one and pay asking price while supplies last. Today only pricing for my Supremely excellent 97 WG is at an all time bargain today only $26,000 and I will put a new set of tires on it for no extra charge. Price dropped from $28,000

Try widening your craigslist search for an EVO. Searchtempist.com is a good way to search Craigslist. Just punch up what you want and the distance you're willing to drive to get it. Keep checking daily. It took me 6 months of searching 10 years ago to get my EVO but I finally got exactly what I wanted.

You ought to put in your location too. Might be a few guys around here that know of something for sale close to you. There was a gorgeous EVO Wide glide for sale in North Alabama for a long time. Might still be available, I don't know. I'd buy it in a minute if I had the room.
