Very ambitious project. I actually like the orange and silver that is on the tank. How about painting the rest of the bike to match it?

What are the plans for the engine?

the bike will be painted to match the tank color scheme for sure. So far I have the tank and I picked up a side cover with the same colors and I found a front fender but that's $500 and haven't pulled the trigger on it just yet, gotta talk to my painter and if it's cheaper just to paint one I'll go that route.

As far as the engine, this one has 44k on it no leaks that I can see, appears to run great. The bike was layed down and I bought it from a insurance place but he had no history on it so who knows what's been done to it. For now I'll just make sure it's a good runner and in the future I can always do some upgrades if I'd like to.

As far as the enforcer wheel in the back, I don't see it as much of a problem since I'm putting the new swing arm in back also but haven't gotten there yet so I may run into problems but nothing I can't solve. I've been a fabricator/ welder for about 25 years so I can make anything I need and I work in a machine shop so I have most any machine at the ready when needed.

Can't make any promises when it will be done but I'll try to keep up on pics and process on here. Thanks guys!

This is what my bike will look like as far as colors. I may powder coat the forks black. I have the extended CVO slanted bags already too.

Ha! I wish! Should be finished by summer if everything goes well. That's just a pic of the colors I'm going with...

Just make double on each bracket and spacers, have them laying around in case someone I know wants to tackle the same wheel install.
