Default Radio switches?

Anyone know where to find the switches that control the radio? Have a '88 FLHTC. Really just need the left side. It's tempramental. Some timesit work's sometimes it doesn't. I've found complete switchs and housingsbut they were used. I'm uneasy about buying used electronics.

I'd check eBay.

Providing you have the plug that attaches to the radio, you could probably update to the 96+ models. It would take a bit of time, but I don't think it would be all that difficult.

I've installed a aftermarket head unit. Thought about updating the switches and housings to 96 style but they're a different size and shape than my style. That would mean changing controls too . Not sure the brake line, clutch cable and throttle cables are compatible. I have several manuals with wiring diagrams for both year's so the wiring I'm sure I can handle.

Brake line and cables should be compatible. There is usually a bit of play in them. I'd update the controls, and be happy about it.
