my crane hi4 took a dump(pos), friend gave me a 53-645,early model single fire ultima is no help,they only show the 644 programable..any help?

 

Have you called Ultimas tech line?

 

 

The 645 is the old pre-set big cube module, it will be set for little timing advance, see if the wire colors are the same as the 644 in the wiring diagram, they should be the same. The factory preset module in a 127 has the same wire colors as a Ultima 644

 

Check to see if there is a bank of switches under the label. I've heard Ultima covered the switches on ignitions sold with their performnce engines.

 

I ended up puttin the old work horse stock ignition back in...
