Hey guys
I am new here with the hd thing
I am a avid motorcyclist and love anything with 2 wheels
not too crazy about the flashy hd riders more interested in riding.
I am striking a deal with a guy with a 93 electra
83,000 miles was rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago
to just simple stock does have a screaming eagle ignition
i noticed in the a pic?
I am just looking for a interstste type bike to run down and see my
kids in college.
Thought???

Second you really should start a new thread for this as more people will see it.
What is a flashy hd rider more interested in riding?
As for the bike what are they asking, carb or EFI, do they have any paper work on it?

flashy hd rider is all these clowns that have the hd matching clothes and belts
but ride to the local starbucks and at the light reving the engine.
25,000 bike but it has 4000 miles on it more of a show piece for their buddy's.
no paperwork but I did talk tgo the orginal owner who rebuilt it
he is a hd mechanic at a semi local dealer
I am trading for it.
value on trade aabout 6000.

Made the trade and I am happy
It does have a cam in it
lopes very slow all most fell like it is gonna stall at the stop sign.
it had some after market stereo and 6x9 in the saddle bags
I removed all that I listen to my I tunes thru the blue tooth in my helmet
so no need for a stereo and all that.
leaked a drop of oil last night so at least I know it is a real Harley
I have removed the stereo now I am wondering is there a compartment that I can slide in there just to have like a shelf in there??
