Default Which motor mount? Velva, stock, aftermarket?

Now that I determined I need a front motor mount, I call local shop and he's doesn't have them in stock but can get an aftermarket mount for $20 but highly recommends the Velva-ride which is $93. Says it's much better and reduces vibration by 20-50%.
Local Harley dealer has stock mount for $65 in stock.
Is the Velva-ride worth the price?
Any recommendations?

Our 120" ate up a brand new Velva-ride front mount in under 1,000 miles(first 500 were break in). We switched to a V-rod mount and no more problems>

I used the $20 one you mentioned and it lasted about 10k miles. Mind you, there was NO rubber left on the mount! It literally disintegrated.

Bought the OEM and it's still good 60k later.

I got my Velva Ride from Jireh for about $60.00 but after about 500 miles I switched to the "D" version of the stock Harley mount. I liked the two piece design but with the 113" I got better results from the stock style mount.

They say the "C" version is softer but does not hold up as well - I think my '90 had the "A" version stock mount and most after market are considered similar to the "B" version. I think I only paid about $40 from Zanotti, but they no longer have it set up to order on line you would have to call them.
