Default Kennedale Drag Strip

Yesterday, Saturday, I rode to Kennedale, TX., 165 miles, to the drag strip to help a friend trouble shoot shifter problems he was having with his zx 14 dragbike. I saw some friends that I had not seen since 2004, met some new friends, got to talk with a couple young that were just kids the last time I saw them, and got to hear the roar of the engines and smell the burning rubber, life is good.
Rode home last night, the moon was full, the air was cool, the old Harley sang a pretty song all the way up and back, life is very good.

The problem with the shifter is lack of air pressure at the shift cylinder, it shifts fine from 1st to 2nd and fails from 2nd to 3rd and that is because using the swing arm as the air tank, it is 2 feet or more from the shifter and the 1/4" air line want pass the air fast enough. We will install 3/8" line and see if that works next race.....
