Default Exhaust question..

I have an opportunity to purchase (very very cheap) mint condition set of factory exhaust off a 2003 Fatboy. Will this system bolt up to my 1993 FXSTC? Many thanks in advance?

Is a 2003 fatboy about the same bike as a FXSTC? All I can say is that the 2007 FLHTx exhaust I bought fit perfect on my 1986 FLHT.

Thanks Dr, I am not really sure. I have to drive quite a few miles to pick up the exhaust, hate to purchase a pig in poke.

It will bolt up, however you will probably need to do something about the rear mount.

Like miacycles said. "the header will bolt onto your heads", plug the o2 sensor, which should be on '07's. Your bike is in the soft tail family and mounts diff. I wouldn't get it, find another from the ST family, which will mount up in minutes. Many pipes were taken off as new and available as a complete unit for $100 or less like new. Why mess around with something that doesn't fit and has to be fabed?
my 2 cents

Holster Maker: I passed on the transaction, but I located a never used 99 Springer Softail stock exhaust system that was removed from the dealership and placed in the owners storage for 50.00! Road trip this evening.

Just picked up a custom FXR frame from a guy that had delusions of granduer. You know they make it look easy on American Flopper.LOL So I've been looking at parts for that. How's things down there. We are still lloking at moving down south somewhere to get away from the NY taxes.
We sure had some fun in the 70's with the three "B's", Bikes, Broads, and Booze, didn't we!!!!!
