Default fork seal leaking

i have read several posts on replacing the seal. remove wheel, fender and allen screw at bottom of lower leg. let leg drop and remove locking clip. pull lower leg down removing the seal as it is attached to upper leg. problem I have is putting the new seal on. these posts don't detail it enough. do you install seal in lower leg while you have it off, and then mount it to upper leg? or do you mount it to upper leg frist and than install the seal? need some help on this as i'm trying to visualize it in my head. thanks

Assemble the spring, fork tube and damper tube into the slider (lower leg) then install the upper bushing, seal spacer and seal over the slider. There's a tool to help seat the seal into the slider.

if you are just removing the lower leg to put seal in how do you get the seal put on the fork tube. i know with the fork tube out you slide it on from the top, but with the top still mounted how do you place it on the tube?

if i remember right you can also use a piece of the correct diameter pvc tubing to use as a driver for the seal when you go to install it.

I guess what i am trying to say is this. if I install seal in slider{bottom leg} while I have it off and also the locking ring, will the {fork tube and bushing} fit through the seal when installing the slider and tube back together? still trying to get it in my head.
