Default Pan shovel Blues

1969 pan Shovel.major kick back isses with starter and kicking I have recently timed it.starts but its mean to me.I have tried retarding the timing also! any Thoughts?? icing my ancle!!!!
also new batt.


Condensor?
commpression leak?
Disributer a tooth out of proper placement? Thanks

Post this over on the Shovelhead section which is under classic forum. Big inch, twisted biker or Alcherry will get you straight. Not any kickers here in EVO land.

On a serious note...it does sound advanced or lean, I would re-time very carefully and then re-adjust the carby and try again....if that fails, and it runs Ok but just bites, then I would buy a pair of big ****-off boots :-)

My Ironhead liked to bite people but I had the boots for it...and the weight in those days ;-)

if it is kicking back, its firing too early. one reason or another, timing is off
