Graham nailed it, I ordered the Tracula package which includes the front engine mount, along with the optional Touring Link bars which replace the sheet metal links that the front mount attaches to. The entire package is somewhat pricey but it got to the point of "Can't stop now."
I've heard from several "regular folk" that it's worth it, and if it takes away that "insecure" feeling when going into curves only a little aggresively, it will be.

And yes, "Indy" is an independent Harley Mechanic. The guy I go to has been very helpful and willing to work with me both with advice, and for timely work so I try to return the favor by ordering through him so he can make a few bucks, even if he isn't the cheapest source. The difference isn't usually too bad, and I look at it as insurance to make sure that he can keep going and be there for me to lean on when needed.

With the economy being the way that it is I try to follow the mantra "Keep it local. Support your local Indy. "

Well done! These kits are better than many give them credit for. The indy who installed my S&S 107 reckons mine is the only big dresser he trusts in the wet!

Ah ha! So I am my own indy. I guess. I can't afford to have someone else work on my stuff. But I sure don't mind picking a pro's brain once in a while.
Keep us posted on your improvements. I have a 1990 and am very interested in your progress.
