Default Motor and tranny pics y'all wanted to see.

Here's a few pics of my FXR. Waiting for the primary to dry. It's an 88 FXR engine rigid mounted to the frame with an early 84 FXR 5 speed tranny. I just wrinkle blacked the primary. Had no quad seal nor a starter shaft seal. PO "forgot" to install a lot of stuff.

Make sure of all your seals too man,so you don't have to go back in in a week or so.

Put in all new seals, bought the master kit. It was leaking fluid bad, no quad seal at all, metal to metal (spacer to bearing). Nothing is a suprise at this point.

Inner Primary is on! Went the extra mile and installed grade 8 bolts (even though the torque is 18-20 ft lbs). Had a friend almost killed by primary bolts broke off at 65 mph. (Big Dog Cycles in Greensboro NC is now out of business because of this) Here are some more pics. The bolt you see is the one the PO put in, don't know why it is ground off the way it is.

There's something about an EVO disassembled that always gives me vibes.
