I am trying to hook up my tach and it says to wire it to the negative side of the coil but I can find no markings on the coil and the service manual is no help.

I have a pink wire and a white/black wire and both go to the ignition module. Which one is negative?

 

I dont have my book in front of me but a test light or multi meter will show 12 volts when you touch the power side with the ignition on!

I believe your gonna hook it up to the pink terminal
