camshaft end play...

camshaft end play...
Ok so i put my cam(vthunder 3020) in, useing the original thrust washer and the gear that was on the cam and a .055 shim, end play was a forced .010 and an easy .009 That should be good right?? OR??

You should be good. My 99 EVO manual says .001" to .050" endplay on the cam shaft.

Thanks Jim,Thats what mine says too, but i just wanted to make sure i done it right. I still gotta check the breather end play, but never hurts to double check things! Gxrboy told me after i posted this said i should be good.

Me too junglejoe. It is always best for me to double check rather that do over. I have enough of those even with double checking. LOL

Damn,thats good to know! I seen this dude who done his and his was .005 , Then I done mine,and was like wtf did I do wrong..lol
