Default Tina's top end rebuild

Traildog told me to start a thread so here it is.

I have the top end torn down. The heads and jugs are in a box and going to Fort Worth in the morning.

By the way TD that isn't dirt it is discolored paint!!!!!!!!!!!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Bit of Seafoam should clean it up.

35k miles on a Harley reman.
I was looking for an excuse to do this and the leaking base gaskets gave me that reason.

How are you going to do your homework with all that clutter on your desk?

Shouldn't need much on that Mileage.....just gaskets and any go-faster stuff you wanna add.

So, if I missed it in another thread, are you shaving the heads to get a bump in compression?

Good luck with it, I hope it all goes smoothly for you!

Is it worth new rings and a quick rub with a ball hone at that sort of mileage?

I've to to do my base gaskets at some point, so making up a shopping list. (EV27, Torr'n bearing, lifters??, Cometic gaskets on the list so far)
Mine's got 50,000km from new, which I think is about 30,000 miles.

Anything else peculiar to Evos to look out for whilst I am fondling its innards?
