Default no dash lights on my 86 flhtc

Ok, lights working everywhere but dash cluster. The neutral, high beam and right turn signal indicators are ok as well. ( All indicators are working) left indicator on dash is not working. Need help with a diagnosis starting point!

As always thank you!

So, what lights exactly are not working? Just the left turn indicator?

I always start with the basics, check the lamp if it's good then check if you have power to it and then it's check the wiring time. Good luck

The problem has to be between the main harness and the indicator socket, because the rest of the circuit is working properly.

Only the right turn signal works. No back lights at all also, neutral and high beam and oil work.

Can`t help you until you get around to telling us exactly what is not working.

take it apart and look at the bulbs, if they're burned out then change them. it isn't rocket science.

Works:
Right turn signal indicator
Oil light
Neutral light
High beam indicator
Tach
Speedo

Not working:
When headlight is on the cluster, the whole thing, does not light up at night. I can't see anything in the dark on the cluster.

Look at the black wire coming off the cluster harness plug. It should go to the bus bar ground. If the wire is connected, check for ground at the back of the plug with an Ohm meter. I suspect your left turn signal not showing is a separate issue (bulb.)
