Default Blinking blinkers

Hi all.
Can anyone shed any light on where i will find the turn signal module on my 1995 Roadking?
Ive looked in the head light bowl, under the seat and behind the side panels. I think its gone bad as my right side indicators come on but dont go off completely between flashes, although when i put the four way hazards on they work correctly.
Any feed back would be much appreciated.

It's a large black module, about the size of a packet of ciggies old chap! (the thought Police won't let me say f4gs) I would guess, looking at one of the on line parts websites, that is in the vicinity of your steering head. Take a look here under Switches etc.

Thanks Mr Brown.
I will check it out first thing in the morning. Its a real pain as it failed the MOT because of it, missing this good spring weather.

Cheers

Thumbs up

That's a dashed poor show! Best of luck. My module gave problems a few years ago and it's direct replacement was darned expensive, although it was available. Take a look at Jersey H-D for prices of parts.

Thanks i will take a look. Just out of interest, because my hazards work correctly i.e the right and left side both flash correctly, would this still point to the module? or is there something else going on?

Thanks

Sounds more likely to be a simple problem, as Owtlaw suggests, so check connections, including earths, but also the bulbs. If say one light is messing about, swap it's bulb with the other side, to see if the problem goes with it. Your bike is almost 20 years old, so a bit of corrosion is to be expected. Pull apart all the connectors, clean and reconnect with dialectic grease, to keep damp out.

I have swapped all the bulbs around etc which doesn't make any difference, but I will attempt to check all the connections and earths to see if I can get back on the road quicker.

Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the advice chaps.
Ive found the turn signal module and managed to get a replacement at a great price, so my blinking blinkers are blinking correctly. Just in case you need to locate the tsm on your evo Roadking, it is bolted at the top of the left hand fork, behind the head lamp bowl.

Cheers

Just got back from a local bike event - it's perishing cold out there! Jolly good news you've fixed your winkers, well done.
