Default Well that was a bust!!!

I tried to put on the DYNA S ignition today and I had it all wired up.
Zip tied up the wires so they were out of the way and neat looking.

No Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went through the trouble shooting list and it turned out the ignition pickup was bad out of the box!!!!!!!!!
Of course I bought it off e-bay so no going and talking to someone and I am past the 30 day return time limit.

There goes $200!!!!!!!!!

I have a screaming eagle ignition module.
Are these aftermarket ignition modules really worth it?????????

Go buy a new one somewhere with a return policy and return the busted one. It's going back to the manufacturer and they'll be made whole.

I hear what you are saying but I don't do things like that.
It was my own dumbass fault for waiting so why should someone else pay the price?

I hear you but it should go back to the manufacturer don't think that can happen without a authorized retailer sending it back. If you returned that to a dealer they would send it and be compensated. No one loses, I'd call them at the very least and ask them to replace it even though you don't have a receipt. Say it was a gift from an ex. It's not your fault it's defective.

Not a bad idea. You could go through the long route of going to an Indy and asking them to send it back and pay the difference up front. Worst they can say is no and you'll be in the same e spot you're in now.

I like kp's idea.
It would be different if it was something you had done. I wonder if they are serialized, and if it is kept track of, though?

I'd go straight to the manufacturer. It has to have some sort of warranty. I doesn't hurt nothing just giving them a call. Long distance is free these days.
