ok been looking at upgrading to hid headlight from the old sealed beam, is it worth the change? what kit are u using to change your bike over if you guys are? Thanks
I put on a 7" fatboy headlight and I added a couple of spots that I have aimed alittle to the side for deer... I have it wired so the spots stay on with high beam and all are off when you start the engine.... Works great and easy on the charging system...
Converting to LED is a great improvement. So much so that I'm converting my springer from H4 to Led by putting on a 7" headlight.
Here is my before and after. Only problem is side visibility in the day is less than sealed beam so I run my high beam in the day...I never get flashed.

High beam. Odd that the high beam is on the bottom.
holy fleepin cow what a difference, is this just a bolt on type mod? where did you get the new light? I like the look of it too... wonder if i could do it to the bad boy....
LEDs are too rich for me, I have a Hella E code reflector w/ halogen to install. I also have plans to replace the spots with newer HD spots with 50W 886 bulbs.
H 4 should be what you have have you tried the starlites? My 92 has this and it is pretty bright, most of my riding is at night and i live in deer country.

If your bike has a 7" light, yes it's a screw in mod. Easy.
