Default 94' Dyna Wide Glide Top End

So I started the breakdown yesterday. I'll post some pictures. I decided after I saw that both cylinder base gaskets were blown, that I would go ahead and replace all the top end gaskets. I would like to hear some posts of any tips or tricks of the trade anyone has out there. I'm going to clean the carbon building off the cylinder head and piston. Tell me what ya'll think.

I like cometic gaskets. Of coarse it needs to fit your engine if you have over bore cylinders.?

Yeah, I'm replacing them all. I bought a set of James gaskets. After I replace the gaskets is there a certain period of time to let the gaskets set in or is it ready to ride once replaced and put back together?

There is a first ride procedure that you must follow religiously.
First drink a fifth of the whisky of your choice.
Second point the bike down a long straight away.
Third rev the motor to about 5k and pop the clutch.
Fourth hang the f.uck on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or you can just ride it of course.

BTW....the bike won't start in first gear when you pop the clutch. 2nd gear. Also, how many miles were on the bike when the gaskets blew?

Don't use a wire brush in a drill motor on the gasket surfaces...
