Default 1996 fatboy spark plugs fouling

my 1996 fatboy has started to misfire and hesitate. Pulled the plugs, the front cylinder plug has white tip, and the rear one is fouled black, not really oilly. any ideas, carb, or electrical. I switched wires and plugs stayed the same. My next test is to move the plugs, and see if they change. I must also add that the bike idles great and when it is cold it runs fine with the choke on. but once it warms up my problem starts. Anyone come across this before?

How long do you leave the choke on?

You might consider dropping the float bowl and cleaning out the carb, you may have some trash holding the seat from sealing, causing the carb to overflow and cause a super rich mixture.

from what I under stand the front plug is running hot, and the back one is running rich. Only have 1 carb, so I figure it has to be electrical. does this make sense or am I barking up the wrong tree.

My rear plug has always been darker than the front plug. Have you sprayed around the intake seals? Possible leak?

same problem on my evo w/ mikuni..spray bar was pointing to the front cyl. changed,.. all electrics changed..with enging running sprayed wd40 on maifold..engine slowed found air leak..when Mikuni installed the intake clamps were bent and gasket messed up.. changed them works great..used S&S clamps which seem better made than HD..Hope this helps..
