What is Needed For ev27 install
Ok so been riding my new king like crazy and compared to pops which has the ev27 installed its a slug lol. As it sits it has S&S carb , Samson Pipes. What do i need aside from the cam itself, I know i need to do the torrington bearing , and set of lifters , aside from gaskets is that it? how much of a carb adjustment will i need? and do i need after market ignition ? I plan on taking the rocker boxes off so i can reuse stock pushrods and save the money on aftermarket ones

You don't need to do anything but the cam and the cam bearing.
It would be a good idea if you took the cam gear off the stock cam and put it on the EV-27.
If your bike is close to 40k then I would do the lifters or you can just do them now since you are already there. It saves you from going back in later.

If you tell them you want to borrow the blind hole bearing puller they should know what your talking about. They also have a picture list of whet they loan.
Looks like this one:
