Is it a necessity? Mine crumbled..........prolly the seafoam, not!

that only happens when the motor is about to explode
dont worry you dont use slippery oil so you dont have to be concerned

Why run an aircleaner if you're going to have an area where it can suck in unclean air?

it depends on what air cleaner you run. if you run a k&n or that type you don't need it. the k&n filter will let more dirt in your engine than that missing gasket. so there's no point
if you run a good air filter I say yes you need it because you care about your engine.

If K&N is not good what is a good one?
