Default Oil issue

I seem to be burning or leaking oil in my 1985 elextra glide. Can I put non synthetic back in the bike once I have been running synthetic?

I was using syn oil and switched back to Castrol 20/50 without issues.

Same here, and...my base gasket stopped it's oozing. I know the gasket will need replacement eventually, but I will not complain about the leak stopping.

Your bike may run a little quieter with conventional oil. I like valvoline racing 20w-50. Has a higher amount of zinc than some of the other conventional oils and is still easy to get. I change mine about every 2000 miles. YD

Dino oil is non-synthetic, just a nick name for regular oil. what quiets my engine is heavier oil! I usually run straight 60w in summer, I just haven't got around to it this year, since I don't ride much in summer here in the oven.
