My BMW R1200CL has them standard from the Factory (its those chrome things at the end of the grips.) I've never run it w/o them to see if there's a difference, but it makes sense in theory.

Cool

Most of us are riding bikes with rubber-mounted engines, that don't transmit much vibration to the bars. Now a solid mount Sporty or Softail might be a different matter!

I am not having any issues, and my bike rides smoother than it ever has since the refresh that was done in the fall, but I am curious about this product.
It works on the mass damper principal. It can only isolate resonant energy such as in the risers or maybe the frame, it cannot isolate engine vibration directly.

The principal is absolutely sound and has been used in the vibration control industry for decades but the effects will depend on the source of vibration in the bars.

Speaking as someone who has ridden a softail for 14.5 hours one way to a friends house the vibration in the bars just ain't that bad.

Maybe I have just gotten used to it but I just don't really notice it.

So here a question would this be a good idea for springer front ends. If I ride 45 min on a highway I feel like I have bugs crawling all over me. Or what a good vibration eliminator for springer. Also have apes

If you get off, what keeps it from falling off the seat?

If one is contemplating the minor vibes from an evo, they should be considering one of the non-vibrating twin-cam models instead. Actually, I welcome the vibration vs the twinkie….just enough to add a little attitude.

I started this thread because it was a product I stumbled across. My Evo runs smoother now than when I bought it seven years ago thanks to a refresh and minor massaging in the fall.
