He had checked everything with the alignment, home made tools of course, still did it.. Anyhow, after this new tire, he was completely blown away and coule easily ride with no hands. May not be your issue, but I'd try jacking it up and rolling the tire forward and back while watching the belt.. See if it remains true, then possibly buy a couple od laser levels to stick on the rotors and see what the alignment looks like.. I forget if you've done this stuff, but he thought the tire and alignment was spot on till the dealer put a tire on it and fixed all his problems.. Nice new ride by the way, you'll enjoy it, try not to neglect your Dyna..
Thanks! yes, I did put in up on a jack and spin the tire.. the belt does move one side to the other depending on which way you spin the tire..

I'd try to adjust it to where it stays in the middle.. It's tough, but I did it on my bagger before swapping the swingarm.. On a side note, that's one of the best things about that upgrade, those snail eccentrics take all the guesswork out of belt alignment..

Joe congrats on the scooter.

A good friend of mine added a 2014 SG SE to his 1997 Fatboy. He really loves the pull of the 103.

Enjoy your new ride!

It's supposed to do that. The belt is slightly tapered side to side. My indy showed me this.

Um, I don't think so.... If that was the case, wouldn't it track the same way in each direction?? It would also side load the belt causing more heat and wear..

Just got back from riding with a 2014 SG in the Smokey's, he traded his 2013 SG in on it because the 2013 103 was slow. The 2014 103 with the same mods did sound better, run better, better stereo but the billboard GPS was useless - turn left - turn left - turn left - recalculating - turn left - turn left - recalculating - turn left, the next day it was turn right but overall he was pleased with the upgraded bike as it did actually have some giddy up.

What's the difference in the engines or transmissions between the 13 and 14 that makes a noticeable difference? Is it just more compression and the factory oil cooler ?

"What is wrong with having the only Evo in the parking lot?"

I have come to know that feeling in recent times.
I kinda like it to honest
