What's the difference in the engines or transmissions between the 13 and 14 that makes a noticeable difference? Is it just more compression and the factory oil cooler ?
Have only caught some bits and pieces but the Rushmore has some hotter cams from the factory, maybe more compression but that is all I know, his 2014 had some pipes, air cleaner and tuner, it actually has a little bit of chop at idle
"What is wrong with having the only Evo in the parking lot?"I have come to know that feeling in recent times.
I kinda like it to honest WP
Couldn't say that on the Smokey Mnt ride, a 68 year old with us was riding a flawless late 80's era Evo FLH and highly intelligent on Evo engines, FXR's with Evo power was also a strong point as he had one of them at home.
Spoke to him in honesty and said "hope I'm as sharpe as you when I reach 68 and can still ride" Crap 58 might be challenging for me!
Not wanting to hijack Joes thread but situations like this is awesome for a Evo owner.
Thanks guys for the kind words! ONLY thing I ever owned myself that was brand new! I love it! It does sound like it has a lil cam in it from the factory! I'm going to leave it stock for now, well, that is the plan LMAO!!
By the way highjack away..it's all good round here!
Congrats on the new bike. That's sweet! I notice more and more when I go on group rides that I have the only EVO in the crowd. Which is great with me.
I suppose one day I'll have to break down and get a newer Harley, or a Goldwing if times are hard.. I have always said that if this old bike breaks to the point that it cost more to fix than replace I'll sell it for whatever and get something else.
