Who are you calling a "has been"? I'll let you know that I am most certainly a "Never Was"!

The soft bags look better, but hard to beat the security of hard bags. I park in the city a lot.

I'm sticking with the leather ones. I picked them up with all the mounts and mounting hardware for 90 bucks and then also traded the guy my stock 06 dyna exhaust for his thunder header with mount and heat shield too. Double score. They have certainly grown on me and now I just need to get them softened up with so e pecard leather creame. They are also bigger than I thought they would be. Thanks for the opinions

The bags look good. Bear grease works good on leather, the real stuff, not the crap that comes in a can, but real boiled bear fat.
