Is there anyone on here that builds tranny's for my bike that ships product for a reasonable price?

You get what you pay for in the transmission department. Would you skimp on pistons? Connecting rods? Your choice.

using a factory parts book for the OEM numbers its your choice USA made at twice the price of china with NO did i say NO guarantee on china stuff to even fit BTW much less work - sure give me the numbers

What's your definition of "reasonable"?

I see rebuilt units selling for $1400 ish. You could probably get a salvage yard lump (of unknown history) for something like half that. Or you could spend something like twice that and get a Baker.

i have guys with 200,000 miles on evo crusers and the gears are in good shape

he has omitted why he needs a trans and even what the issue really is with it - they only do a couple of things and are more reapirable then even the motor

maybe we will find out and then again

i would replace the seals and gaskets then adjust the clutch before i would do anything else.

A new 4 speed from us is $2995.00, late 84 bikes had a longer mainshaft. Do you have a diaphragm style clutch or a coil spring style ? That will determine which length mainshaft you have. Another option is Billy down at B& B racing in Louisiana can rebuild your existing trans for you.Billy's number is 504-833-0832

Oops didn't see where he said 5 speed. If it's a 5 speed we can rebuild that for you or buy the 5 speed off from Tom.
