All I can think of is repeated strikes on the wrench with a hammer or heavy rubber mallet and some penetrating oil for the threads.
MAYBE a little heat with a propane torch lightly applied but clamp the tube up in the vise so your rubber pads don't get hot.
I'm thinking it's gotta come loose eventually.

If you still can't get them off I would put them back into the triple trees and try again.
I use a 18" long 1 3/8" wrench to get mine off and it works just fine.
Another way is to put a shop rag over the nut then grab a big pipe wrench and a hammer and that will take it off as well.

Just my 2 cents

I think he got the big nut loose, Its the part (fork cap) that holds the spring in the tube that is stuck

I can't remember it's size Dang it. What I was getting at was to put the cap with the 2 flat sides in a vice and use the strap wrench to turn the fork tube. Have seen a pipe wrench used when the forks have covers that would hide the teeth marks.

Finally got it. I used a bicycle tube and warped it around the tube. Hit it with penetrating oil an used a two foot wrench with it in a specialty pipe vise and it finally worked. Thanks for your help

It did mark one a little. Now I have a new question. So I took apart one fork and my intentions for all of this is to change the tubes of my two over front end to stock length. I found a spacer on top of the damper which I assume I should not include when I reassemble them with the stock tubes. Is this correct. Also the supposed stock length springs I got are about one inch longer than the springs I took out of the two over forks. Which spring should I use. And just to reclassify the 2 over front end had the shorter springs and the linger ones are the supposed stock ones

And I have one damper rotating when I try to get the bottom screw out of the bottom of the fork leg. What do I do about that to get the Allen screw out?

I remove the damper screws with a impact while the springs and caps are still together, I'm thinking the spring pressure on the dampers would help hold them from spinning.
