stock decat'ed vs x pipe
Trying to decide if its worth the $500 to buy an x pipe or does the stock decat'ed headpipe perform just as good.
How much hp and tq do you get by adding the X pipe, compaired to a stock decat'ed pipe?
Is there any info on this anywhere?
I just went to the fuel moto website and they have a dyno chart from a 2009 that shows it made 1 hp and about 4 ft lbs of torque more than stock with the fuel moto pipe. Am I missing something here? Is the pipe made more for someone that doesn't want to remove the cat in there stock pipe?

A few have experienced O2 sensor "cross talk" with a de-cat'd system due to the location of the stock sensors.
Some here with immediately throw the BS flag on this but I tune bikes and have come across a couple cases with de-cat'd pipes causing problems.
Personally, I no longer waste my time tuning de-cat'd systems.
If it's your bike, do as you see fit...
