Default Baffle-less D&D fat cats

So I had D&D on street glide removed them to put on UC. I love the sound of them, but was wondering if anyone removed baffles and was it a lot louder afterwards. I can tolerate them being a little louder. Thanks

What is UC? Can not imagine the need to remove the baffle from a D&D Fat Cat, loud enough as is.

UC is an abbreviation for an ultra Classic. It's a touring bike. Thanks for sharing the limitations of your imagination. I take it you haven't removed the baffles from the pipes, but for some reason decided to post a comment anyway. Thanks for the input.

I have switched from the standard louvered baffle to the performance wrapped baffle and its definitely louder, so no baffle will for sure be much louder than what you have now.

You will probably loose some performance out of it due to lack of back pressure. D&D makes hell of a good pipe and they designed/flowed them with baffles, so I wouldn't get rid of them just for sound.

Why not remove the baffle, remove the insulation wrap and re-install that baffle. With the wrap removed, you essentially have their loudest baffle and tuned for the best overall performance. I've ran the perforated baffle before (without wrapping) and I quickly installed the wrapped perforated baffle. I do imagine it will be louder without a baffle of any kind. Afterall, it is called a baffle. If the perforated baffle isn't loud enough I would take a moment, go to the yellow pages and find yourself a doctor to give you a hearing test.
