I have a 883 Sportser from 1997 and I was wanting to change the exhaust. I wanted something short, e.g V&H Short Shots, but I just canīt find anything for pre 2000 bikes.
Anyone recommend a similar exhaust, or what I could do? Want something deep sounding.

I have a 94 1200 and I ordered some long drag pipes from J&P cycles, nothing too fancy or over priced and it gave me a great sound. I do know that I need to do some rejetting though.

I know this is an older post, but I ordered Vance and Hines short shots for my 1997 Sportster. Vance and Hines said that they did not make short shots for my year sportster and that the 99-03 would not fit.

They fit...perfectly..and sound even better.
