Posted this on another forum, never got an answer. Anyone have an opinion on this? Trying to decide on cams for BB build on 06 Deluxe. Build will have HTCC heads and pistons, 95", DTT ignition, 3.37 gearing. Right now am running the 37G which I need to replace for this build. Any opinions one way or the other on the Andrews 32G vs Woods TW-5g? I rely on expert opinions here as I'm really not getting a warm and fuzzy on the dealer's knowledge concerning these heads. Everyone tells me to replace the 37's as they will be ping monsters with the HTCC, but dealer says don't worry about it, they do it all the time. I want to get this done right the first time. Need some help pls.

 

Over 9.8 compression the 37 have a ping /detonation issue.
The TW31G has the same lift as the 37 and handles the compression , I run one with SE perf heads and cast flat tops , 98hp 101 lbs ft.

The 32 is a .570 lift version of the 31G , very broad torque band .
