Does anyone know whether these S&S slip ons will fit a 2006 softail deluxe?

The reason I ask is because the fitment description says they fit 2007 and newer models. They look like they should fit by looking at them, but I don't know if mounting hardware between the 2006 and 2007 model year changed?

 

Maybe if I ask the question a slightly different way?


Would anyone know if OEM mufflers for the 2007 softail deluxe would mount on a 2006 softail deluxe? (That's the rear tapered part I'm talking about).

The only thing I can tell you is they do take different part numbers (below). This is for the injected model. The '06 with carb takes another part number all together.

Thanks for those numbers. It is a strange puzzle. Cycle Shack slipons are described as fitting 2005 and newer Deluxe bikes. I know they work, because I have a set. They slide into the header pipes, and attach with 2 bolts to the mounting bracket.


I can't understand why these cycle shack slipons will work over all these model years and other brands say they won't. That makes no sense to me.
